| Season's Greetings |
2008 is going to be a great year — I can already tell. Since this year is ending on a high note both personally and professionally, I can easily see good fortune and great travel in the months ahead. When all is well at home, it opens the door to thoughts of exploring new places. And whether you decide to make the actual trip or experience one through a well-written story, I hope you gain insightful and entertaining travel information right here. This issue features some wonderful destinations perfect for Winter travel. Albeit smaller than usual, the winter issue offers high-quality writing on detailed and fascinating subjects: elements Trips and Journeys has always delivered. A new year means new beginnings for us. Our look is cleaner yet just as colorful as the travel spots we feature. Notice some additional changes? The archives previously available only by subscription are gone. We've decided to start a new library — free of charge. Now all travel articles from this point on will be tightly organized, easy to access, and free. I hope this is great news for readers who want to write for us, read each and every feature, and come back for more information time and time again. We'll be adding additional winter articles in the next couple of weeks. After all, holiday travel is a treat, but winter lasts until March. Let's explore travel throughout the season together. Happy New Year,
